Who We Are:
We are a county-wide, anti-drug coalition that aims to raise awareness and prevent underage alcohol use, tobacco use, and other drug use. Our purpose is to connect the Livingston County community to establish and promote healthy community norms concerning the use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco.
LCCA's 9th Annual Run Against Drugs run is here again!
This 10K/5K run- 5K Walk & Family Fun Day will be on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Howell. Registration fees before June 5th are $25 AND you are guaranteed a Tech T-Shirt. The fee for registrations received after June 5th is still $25 but you are NOT guaranteed a Tech T-Shirt.

Congratulations to the LCCA
Contratulations to the LCCA for receiving the 2012 Hometown Health Hero Award from the Michigan Department of Public Health. The LCCA received the award for its efforts to reduce prescription drug misuse by creating the Big Red Barrels. Check out the photos from the award ceremony in Lansing!
Safely dispose of your unused or outdated medications- look for the Big Red Barrel at these locations:

No questions will be asked. The medication will be disposed in an EPA approved way.
Note- Needles or syringes are not accepted. Go to your local pharmacy and purchase a sharps container. These typically cost $6.00. Put your sharps in the container and return them to: St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital Pharmacy; HIV Aids Resource Center (HARC); or Livingston County Solid Waste Management.
